Q1 | I am a non-HK GP, can I join HKCFP's Vocational Training? |

To join the vocational training program, applicant have to fulfill the below requirements: 1) An intending trainee must be a fully registered medical practitioner in Hong Kong. Please contact the Medical Council of Hong Kong about the registration as medical practitioners in Hong Kong. All medical graduates are required to pass the Council's Licensing Examination. For more details, please direct your enquiry to http://www.mchk.org.hk. 2) An intending trainee must be a current full or associate member of the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians. 3) An intending trainee must submit an enrolment application and pay the prescribed fee to the College. 4) Training must be undertaken in an accredited training center, such as some centers of Hong Kong Hospital Authority. The application for enrolment is required to be supported and verified by a clinical supervisor. |

A2 | We do not offer distance learning. One must be able to attend required lectures and workshops in Hong Kong |

A3 | We welcome and accept foreign applications. However, applicant must be a Medical Practitioner with Bachelor's degree in Medicine. The translation of license and certificate must be officially translated by the corresponding medical school. |
Q4 | Will the Course fee differ if I am an applicant of a non-Hong Kong resident? |
A4 | The DFM / CFM couse fee will be the same to every applicant, HK$25,000 for members and HK$50,000 for non-members applying for DFM; HK$6,000 for members and HK$12,000 for non-members applying for CFM. Future course fees of DFM and CFM will be subject to change. |
Q1 | Apart from passing the Conjoint Fellowship Exam, what are the other conditions I shall fulfill in order to be eligible to apply for FHKCFP? |

Passing
the Conjoint Fellowship Examination does not equate with election to the
fellowship of the Hong Kong College of Family
Physicians. For details regarding the requirements and eligibility of
FHKCFP election, please kindlly refer to the Election to Fellowship of
the college website. It is the candidates' own responsibility to ensure
all requirements are fulfilled prior to the election of fellowship. Application for Fellowship of HKCFP would be subjected to the final decision of the College Council. |
