Angus Chan is Chairman, Specialty Board, HKCFP since 2007 and a Board Member since 2001. He is also the Council Member, HKCFP.
Angus graduated from University of Glasgow in 1988. He received extensive training in Paediatrics and General Practice in UK and returned to Hong Kong in 1996. He is a keen medical teacher since his very first job and participates in teaching medical students and training Family Medicine trainees.
He is a full time Family Physician and the Medical Director of a group practice. He provides medical consultancy to insurance companies. He has special interests in Paediatrics, Geriatrics, Occupational Medicine and is also a member of the Occupational Safety & Health Council.


Vice-President (General Affairs) - Dr. LAU Ho Lim

Dr Lau Ho Lim graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Hong Kong. He became Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians and Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1996.
He has been participating actively in the work of the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians for more than 10 years: as Examiner in the Conjoint Fellowship Examination since 1998 and as Chief Examiner in 2006; as Coordinator in the Key Feature Problems Segment of the Conjoint Fellowship Examination since its introduction in 2003; as Council Member from 2004 to 2007 and Honorary Treasurer from 2008 to 2011. He is currently Vice President of HKCFP. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Professional Development and Services.
He now serves as Honorary Clinical Associate Professor in Family Medicine, University of Hong Kong, and Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor in Family Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
He is a member of the Project Planning Committee of the Self-Learning Kit on Breastfeeding for Medical Professionals, the Task Force on Hong Kong Code of Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes, and the Clinical Advisory Group on Hong Kong Reference Framework for Preventive Care for Older Adults in Primary Care Settings, Department of Health, and a member of the Working Group on eHR and Information Standards, Food and Health Bureau, The Government of Hong Kong SAR. He also serves as a member of the University Health Service Committee, The University of Hong Kong.
He is now in private practice.

Dr. Lee is Consultant Family Physician, Elderly Health Service of the Department of Health, Government of HKSAR. She is also Honorary Clinical Associate Professor, University of Hong Kong, Council Member, Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (HKAM) and WONCA APR.
Her special interests are in elderly health, smoking cessation and family medicine training and development. She has publications on elderly health, behavior change, consultation skills assessment, vocational training in family medicine, cancer screening and primary healthcare.

Dr. Au is a full time private Family Physician. He is the Chairman of Board of DFM and Council Member, HKCFP. He is also an Examiner of Specialty Board.
Academically, he is an Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor in Family Medicine in the University of Hong Kong, and an Adjunct Tutor in Family Medicine in the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Chan entered full-time family practice in 1984. He is a Specialist in Family Medicine. Serving the College Council since 2000, he has been the Vice-President (Education Examination) of the College since 2006, and the Chairman of the Board of Conjoint Examination since 2005. He is also the Vice-Chairman of WONCA 2009 Host Organizing Committee. Academically, he is an Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor in Family Medicine in Department of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong, and an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor in Family Medicine, Department of Community & Family Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Chan joined community doctoring at 1995 after 12 years of hospital medicine in New Zealand, Australia and Hong Kong. Dr Chan has organized numerous education sessions for practicing doctors since 2000; serves the Board of Education and as Vice Chairman of the Public Education Committee since 2005, as Council member and Chairman of the Web and Computer committee since 2006. He is also the Treasurer of The Hong Kong Community Psychological Medicine Association, Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychiatry, University of Hong Kong (2006-2010) and Part time lecturer at the Department of Family Medicine of The Chinese University of Hong Kong since 2006. His interests are his patients, pain and epistemology studies.

Dr. Gene TSOI graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1980. He joined the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians in 1982 and actively involved with various College activities in education and training. He has been Chairman of Membership Committee, Board of Education, Board of Vocational Training and Standards, Hon. Treasurer before taking the Presidency in 2008. He obtained Fellowship of The Hong Kong College of Family Physicians in 1987 and then Fellowship of Hong Kong Academy of Medicine in Family Medicine in 1993. He started general practice in the private sector in 1987. He is appointed by the Department of Medicine, University of Hong Kong as Honorary Clinical Associate Professor and engaged in part-time teaching of medical students. He is also appointed by the Hospital Authority as part-time Consultant in Family Medicine for the training of vocational trainees in Family Medicine from 2000-2003. He is Hon. Consultant of Hong Kong Central Hospital. He also holds appointments as member of Hospital Governing Committee of Our Lady of Maryknoll Hospital, member of Health and Medical Development Advisory Committee of the Food and Health Bureau, member of Licentiate Committee of the Medical Council of Hong Kong.

Dr. Tsui is the Chief of Service & Consultant of the Department of Family Medicine & Primary Healthcare, Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong West Cluster of the Hospital Authority. She is also the Consultant In-charge of the Primary Care Office, Government of the HKSAR. She has joined the College Council since 2007 and has been the Chairman of the Specialty Board since 2010. Academically, she is the Honorary Clinical Associate Professor, University of Hong Kong and has been the supervisor for both basic and higher trainees in Family Medicine since 2005. She has been appointed as the examiner for the Exit Exam, Conjoint Exam and DFM since 2007, 2008 and 2005 respectively. Her special interests are family medicine training and development, consultation skills assessment and primary care development.

Prof. Cindy Lam is Chief Censor of College. She is Professor and Head of the Family Medicine Unit of the University of Hong Kong. She is a member of the Medical Council of Hong Kong and Council Member of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine. She represents the Asia Pacific region in the Research and Education & Training Working Groups of WONCA.

Dr. Stephen KS FOO

Dr. Stephen Foo is adjunct associate professor in family medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as honorary clinical associate professor in general practice, Department of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong. He has been an examiner for the Conjoint HKCFP/RACGP Board of Examination since 1987, and is currently also the course director of the Diploma of Family Medicine, HKCFP.
Dr. Foo is honorary fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and also of the Academy of Family Medicine of Malaysian Physicians, in addition to being honorary fellow of the HK College of Family Physicians. He was honorary consultant in Primary Care Department of Health of the HKSAR Government, and was a member of the Appeal Board for Closure Orders (Immediate Health Hazard), Health and Welfare and Food Bureau.
During his more than 30 colour, fruitful and fulfilling years of experience as a general physician, Dr. Foo has served on the committees of many organizations and societies.
Dr. Foo has been instrumental in uniting and elevating the status of family physicians in Hong Kong to a level on par with other specialties and clinical disciplines. He assisted in founding the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians in 1977, thus forming a body for general practitioners. He was its president from 1992 to 1998. In the year that he became president, he successfully made the College one of the 12 founding colleges of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, and family medicine a specialty. Three years later, in 1995, Dr. Foo hosted the 14th World WONCA Conference in Hong Kong. The Conference was a milestone for family medicine practice in Hong Kong. Dr. Foo has been involved with WONCA for more than 20 years, and continues to be actively involved.
Currently, most of his time is spent doing the work in his capacity as honorary treasurer of the HK Academy of Medicine, censor of the HKCFP and member of the Preliminary Investigation Committee of the HK Medical Council.
Despite a busy practice, regular academic engagements and commitment to many causes, Dr. Foo still finds time to speak at symposia and has published numerous papers and articles.
